Our story begins in 2010, when a few keys kids Alessandra, Katy and Julia sat around a table in an ice cream shop discussing what life would be like after high school graduation. It was just a few short weeks away and we were getting closer to adulthood. What we would all become as we grew up? Do we have to? Why is everyone asking us what
Our story begins in 2010, when a few keys kids Alessandra, Katy and Julia sat around a table in an ice cream shop discussing what life would be like after high school graduation. It was just a few short weeks away and we were getting closer to adulthood. What we would all become as we grew up? Do we have to? Why is everyone asking us what college were going to? We were raised here in Big Pine key and could not imagine life with out the summers on the boat, going to the sandbar with friends and camping under the stars. That is when we all decided to create the University of Big Pine and be life long students. We created the idea of a college where we can take classes in what ever we want, show up whenever we want and always pass.
We began just making shirts for our friends, encouraging everyone to go along with the joke. It was only a matter of time before we kept getting requests for shirts and had no choice but to continue with the idea. Thirteen years in 2023 we continue making shirts for our community and the joke lives on.
Our shirts have been spotted all over the USA and locally in the keys. We thank you for the support and laughs.
